Barrie Brookman
Barrie was born and raised in Carstairs, Alberta. Being a natural athlete, sports have played a huge part in Barrie's life. Any spare time after family and career commitments revolve around sports.
Barrie excels at golf, baseball, and hockey. If he isn't participating, he's raising the roof as a dedicated fan!
Terry Brookman
Terry was born and raised on a mixed farm at Carseland, Alberta. One of her favourite childhood memories is of their family cattle drives to and from summer pasture on the beautiful Bow River. In her mind and heart it was better than a trip to Disneyland!
It is her hope to achieve that level of excitement for their guests at The Ranch.
The Brookmans
Barrie has been employed in the oil and gas industry since 1969. The Brookmans were married in Calgary in 1973 and have three wonderful kids. They are all married, and as Barrie and Terry watch their family grow with the gift of grandchildren, they feel so blessed.
During the 1980s they had the opportunity to live in Cairo, Egypt and Aberdeen, Scotland. Travelling to many different countries, it was a time of adventure and education for their young family.
They bought River Ridge Ranch in 1991, and have had the pleasure of hosting people from many parts of the world.
